The Fundación Tres Culturas del Mediterráneo hosted a new day of the educational programme 'Passport to interculturality', an initiative within the framework of the project 'Seville, Land of Diversity', financed by the Seville City Council and developed in collaboration with the CaixaProinfancia programme of the "la Caixa" Foundation.
On this occasion, children from the organisations Accem, Árbol AdA and Asociación Educativa Candelaria participated and enjoyed an educational experience designed to promote values such as respect, coexistence and intercultural dialogue.
The programme included two dynamics:
- The souk of the three seals'.a gymkhana devised by Engranajes Culturales that took students to a symbolic souk where Christian, Jewish and Muslim cultures coexisted. Through challenges, clues and group dynamics, participants learned about the shared history of these cultures in the Iberian Peninsula, reflecting on the importance of overcoming prejudices and building a coexistence based on understanding and mutual respect.
- Journey into the world of percussion'.an interactive show offered by the Latidos School, which proposed a musical journey through different regions of the world. Through rhythm, body percussion, drums and other traditional instruments, the children explored distant cultures in a sensory and active way, understanding music as a universal language that unites people.
The activity was experienced with enthusiasm by the students, who showed great involvement and curiosity in each proposal. It was an enriching morning that reinforced the value of the encounter between cultures through creativity and active participation.
