The Fundación Tres Culturas, in collaboration with the Centro Andaluz de Arte Contemporáneo (CAAC) and within the framework of the CREAMOS project, is organising this interesting meeting which will allow the best representatives from both countries to reflect on an aspect of the art world that is rarely discussed.

Considered one of the most important gallery owners in Spain, she began her career with her own gallery in Seville and later continued in Madrid. A tireless worker with a vigorous and committed attitude towards artists, her knowledge of contemporary art led her to place the Spanish art scene on an international level with the creation and management of ARCO, which is still the most important international contemporary art fair in Spain to date, becoming a must for international art dealers. Precursor of BIACS in Seville. Her name is part of the History of Spanish Contemporary Art as one of the most relevant people in the discovery of new values, distinguished with the Dédalo prize, as well as important medals among which we can highlight the Gold Medal for Fine Arts of Andalusia in 1995, Gold Medal for Fine Arts awarded by His Majesty the King of Spain in 1998, Favourite Daughter of Andalusia in 2011 and Chevalier dans l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by the French Embassy in Spain (2008). Spanish artists now internationally acclaimed such as Barceló, Broto and García Sevilla began their careers in her gallery, which has also been visited by countless foreign artists such as George Herold, Dokoupil and Kippenberger.
HICHAM DAOUDI (www.cmooa.com)
Creator of the first auction house in Morocco under the acronym CMOOA in 2002 (Compagnie Marocaine des Oeuvres et d'Objets d'Art), based in Casablanca where he also manages the HD gallery. Through constant work and various events, CMOOA has contributed greatly to the creation of an art market in Morocco, facilitating the dissemination of works internationally, enabling both Moroccan and foreign institutions to set up collections that have favoured the promotion of Moroccan artists. Focusing on modern painting and contemporary art from Morocco and the Arab world in general, he created the first contemporary art fair in Marrakech, Marrakech Art Fair, which he personally managed during 2010 and 2011, and has catalogued countless public and private collections. He regularly collaborates with museums such as the Mathaf in Doha and the Georges Pompidou Centre. He created the first contemporary art magazine in Morocco, Diptyk. His constant work and commitment to art make him a reference in modern and contemporary art in the Middle East and Morocco.
