CUDEMA2 Project. Professional Workshops in cultural and creative industries

Are you a university graduate in the humanities or a professional in cultural management and want to make the leap into the world of cultural entrepreneurship?

 

Did you know that the cultural and creative industries are currently an important source of employment, contributing 4% of Spanish GDP and generating 750,000 jobs?

 

Andalusia and Morocco share a rich cultural heritage, the enhancement of which can generate business lines and synergies between the two sides of the Strait of Gibraltar. This requires professionals with knowledge and skills for this new business horizon.

 

Aware of this interesting opportunity for the future of development between the regions of the Strait of Gibraltar, the Fundación Tres Culturas, within the framework of the POCTEFEX Cross-border Cooperation Programme and financed by European Union ERDF funds, has scheduled for the months of October to December 2014 an ambitious training programme in professional skills for cultural managers in blended learning format and free of charge through the CUDEMA2 project, which is structured around five thematic axes:

  1. Fundamentals and sectoral perspectives of Cultural Management.
  2. Cultural Management. Development, territory and cooperation.
  3. New tools. Commercialisation and marketing of culture 2.0. Creativity management.
  4. Funding. Sponsorship and Patronage.
  5. Methodological tools in the foundation of Cultural Management projects. Practical application.

 

A total of seven Cross-Border Workshops will be held in Seville, Granada, Almeria, Melilla, Tangiers, Tetouan and Nador. Over the course of a month, and with the help of renowned experts in the field of cultural and creative industries, knowledge will be generated, debates will be held and cooperation links will be created to take advantage of all the potential that culture can have for employment. Visits to innovative cultural SMEs have also been programmed, from which to learn from their experience the keys to success in order to tackle future projects.
