The Three Cultures Foundation launches the PLUS Project, a meeting point between young people and politicians

ERASMUS PLUS

The Three Cultures Foundation launches the project Politicians Listening to Us (PLUS), involving 10 countries in the Euro-Mediterranean area: Belgium, Egypt, Spain, France, Israel, Italy, Morocco, Portugal, Tunisia and Turkey, which will culminate in a meeting in Seville, from 17 to 24 July 2016. Four young people under 30 years of age per country will be selected, together with a leader from each partner institution.

In each country, a working group will be set up and will begin to meet with politicians and decision-makers in their own country to analyse how policies favour the growth of the social economy. Finally, all the groups will meet at the headquarters of the Fundación Tres Culturas in Seville to share the results of their research. The work programme includes visits to the Andalusian Parliament and Seville City Council, as well as meetings with political scientists such as Sami Naïr. In this way, the participants will work together for a week, sharing opinions and ideas with political decision-makers in order to create a document of general proposals.

This project, co-financed with EU funds for the Erasmus+ programme, is part of Key Action 3 of the Erasmus+ programme, dedicated to structured dialogue, i.e. direct contact between young people and politicians.
