On 19 January, the Tres Culturas Foundation hosted and participated in the 15th edition of the Imagenera 2021 Documentary Creation Awards, which are given by the Andalusian Studies Centre to recognise the enormous talent in Andalusia's cultural and audiovisual industry.
A total of 36 documentaries and 19 photographs competed in this year's edition, with the winners being the films 'La Flota de Indias' by Antonio Pérez Molero, in the documentary feature film category, and 'Paraíso' by Mateo Cabeza, in the documentary short film category. In the Photography category, the winning work was the series 'COVID-19 Emergency funding/The isolated marsh' by photographer Aitor Lara.
The award ceremony was attended by the Deputy Minister of the Presidency, Public Administration and Interior of the Andalusian Regional Government, Antonio Sanz.
