Three Cultures Foundation. 3 December 2013. 6.30 p.m. Conference by Javier Verdugo, vice-president of the ICAN association. This entity and Tres Culturas will develop a research project under the slogan CREATIVE KEYS FOR ANDALUSIA.

The Three Cultures of the Mediterranean Foundation and the ICAN Association (Cultural Industries of Andalusia) will soon sign a framework collaboration agreement that will have, among other objectives, the generation of synergies for strengthening and growth in the cultural industries sector. As a first joint action, both institutions have set up a panel of experts which, under the slogan CREATIVE KEYS FOR ANDALUSIA, aims to develop research and development of strategic and innovative thinking in relation to the cultural and creative industries in Andalusia.

This panel will focus on three main areas of work: sponsorship and micro-patronage; intellectual property; and economic entrepreneurship, always within the framework of the cultural industries. Using the Delphi methodology, the experts will carry out an analysis and diagnosis of the current characteristics of companies in the cultural sector in Andalusia, they will analyse the conceptual framework in which they operate with the idea of favouring the creation of clusters of cultural-creative industries to support entrepreneurship.

In order to materialise this collaboration, next Tuesday 3 December at 6.30 p.m., at the headquarters of the Fundación Tres Culturas (Pabellón Hassan II, c/ Max Planck, 2, Isla de la Cartuja) we will hold the first working group: Cultural Industries: Sponsorship and CrowdfundingJavier Verdugo Santos (Vice-president of ICAN), complemented with practical reflections on taxation with the intervention of Lucia Blasco (Maestranza Consultores).
