The Three Cultures of the Mediterranean Foundation has prepared a full calendar of activities focused on cultural diversity that will take place during May, coinciding with the celebration of the International Day of Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development on the 21st of this month (http://www.un.org/es/events/culturaldiversityday/). These proposals also form part of the programme of events parallel to the 2nd Professional Meeting of Cultural and Creative Industries Andalusia-Northern Morocco of the CUDEMA2 project.
All the activities in this programme, except for the presentation of the book Zimma (which will take place at the Seville Book Fair) will be held at the headquarters of the Fundación Tres Culturas.
- Tuesday Cinema Tuesdays. Cinema and Diversity' Cycle
Dates: 5, 12, 19 and 26 May.
In this cycle, the Foundation is once again collaborating with the Cordoba African Film Festival (FCAT) in their joint work to disseminate the cultural heritage of that continent. Thus, some of the award-winning films from the 12th edition of this event will be screened: Things of the aimless wandererfrom Kivu Ruhorahoza; Beats of the Antonovby Hajooj Kuka; Decorby Ahmad Abdalla; and L'Armée du Salut, by Abdellah Taïa.

- Exhibition 'ROCAS.
Journey, matter, form and colour. A happy encounter'.
Date: From 7 May to 12 June 2015.
The artist Luis Vázquez (Cortegana, 1964) presents a large number of works made with different materials: terracotta, paper, bronze and aluminium are cast directly on the orography of the Moroccan landscape. The opening of the exhibition will feature a performance by the Moroccan calligrapher Sadik Haddari.

- Presentation of the book 'Zimma', by Ismael Diadié
Date: 8 May 2015. 8 p.m.
Venue: Seville Book Fair. Apeadero Hall.
The Fundación Tres Culturas will present the book Zimma, The latest work by the patriarch of the Kati family, president of the Mahmud Kati Foundation and director of the Kati Fund Library in Timbuktu, Ismael Diadié Haïdara, an event that is also part of the Seville Book Fair.

- Calligraphy workshop
Dates: 11 to 14 May. From 17.00 to 20.00 hours.
For four days, calligraphy workshops will be organised by the Moroccan-born artist Sadik Haddari., who has taught at various centres such as La Masana in Barcelona and the Avignon Theatre Festival. This activity will be free of charge with a limited number of people per group, which will be closed in strict order of booking.

- Conversation with writer Nir Baram
Date: 19 May 2015. 7.30 p.m.
Following the success of his previous work, Good people (Alfaguara), Israeli writer Nir Baram presents his second novel published in Spain at Tres Culturas, The shadow of the world (Alfaguara). Baram will talk to Isabel Marín, translator of this novel into Spanish.

- Musical show for schoolchildren 'A mint tea'.
Dates: 21 and 22 May 2015.
Youngsters will be able to enjoy this activity organised in collaboration with the Obra Social de La Caixa and aimed at schoolchildren aged 8 to 12. In this proposal by the Arab Orchestra of Barcelona, those attending will discover the great musical richness of the different peoples of the Maghreb. Attendance at this activity will be closed with interested schools.

- Med Ziani and Amazigh Groove Concert
Date: 21 May. 8.30 p.m.
Continuing with the musical activities of this Month of Cultural Diversity, the night of 21 May will be dedicated to Med Ziani and Amazigh Groove, a group that investigates and fuses different music, such as Berber/Amazigh, North African groove, soul, jazz, funk and reggae among other styles.

- 2nd Professional Meeting of Cultural and Creative Industries Andalusia-Northern Morocco CUDEMA2
Date: 27 and 28 May 2015.
The aim of this meeting is to create a working space that encourages the generation of business lines and synergies between the two shores. Various professional workshops and conferences will be held to promote links between Andalusian and Moroccan companies and professionals in the cultural industries sector. This forum closes the CUDEMA2 project, developed within the framework of the third call of the Operational Programme for Cross-border Cooperation Spain - External Borders (POCTEFEX) and financed by 75% with EU ERDF funds.
