The Fundación Tres Culturas is collaborating with the eleventh edition of the Hay Festival Segovia  with various activities as part of the extensive programme of this important literary event.

DARÁN QUE HABLAR: THE NEW VOICES OF SPANISH-LANGUAGE STORYTELLING

A new generation and a new outlook are making their mark on Spanish literature. Rubén Martín Giráldez, Marina Sanmartín, Juan Gómez Bárcena and Matías Candeira represent this new batch of authors who explain their way of connecting with readers and celebrating language. They will be in conversation with Marta del Riego, Inés Martín Rodrigo and Jesús García Calero.

Co-organised with ABC and Fundación Tres Culturas del Mediterráneo. Produced live by the IE School of Communication Medialab team and broadcast via streaming on the abc.es culture page.

Boualem Sansal and Guillermo Altares

Tres Culturas continues to support the Algerian writer Boualem Sansal, whose latest book has won the Grand Prix de Novel of the Académie Française. After the terrorist attacks in Nice and Paris, France is experiencing one of the most convulsive moments in its history. With '2084: The End of the World' (Seix Barral), Sansal defends democracy. He will talk to Guillermo Altares, head of the 'Ideas' supplement of the newspaper 'El País'.

Co-organised with the José Manuel Lara Foundation, the Institut Français and the French Embassy, with the collaboration of Air France and the Three Cultures of the Mediterranean Foundation.
