The Fundación Tres Culturas has launched the INTRÉPIDA Project (Internationalisation of Women Entrepreneurs from Spain and Portugal towards Insertion, Development and Partnerships), which will run until March 2019.
This is an initiative within the framework of INTERREG Spain-Portugal (POCTEP), Operational Programme for Cross-border Cooperation between Spain and Portugal, in which Tres Culturas has as partners the Fundación Universidad Empresa de la Provincia de Cádiz; the Diputación Provincial de Huelva; the Andalusian Technological Centre of Design Foundation, SURGENIA (Cordoba); the Centre for Luso-Arabic Studies of Silves (Algarve); NERPOR-AE - Associaçao Empresarial da Regiao de Portalegre (Alto Alentejo); and NERE- Núcleo Empresarial da Regiao de Évora (Alto Alentejo).
The INTRÉPIDA Project will boost the business competitiveness of SMEs managed by women in the cross-border territory of Andalusia, Algarve and Alentejopromoting their internationalisation through new models of business development and cooperation. To this end, the transfer of good practices will be promoted and the business fabric will be analysed. The inclusion of new models for internationalisation will count on the approach and use of ICTs. This will contribute to the development of digital economy and the management of tools for the competitiveness of companies in both high-growth potential sectors and more traditional ones by achieving a internationalisation efficient and maintained.
The project partners meet at the headquarters of the Fundación Tres Culturas on 13 July for a first joint working session.
