A delegation from the French government, headed by the French ambassador to Spain, Jean-Michel Casa, has visited the Fundación Tres Culturas to meet with its director, José Manuel Cervera, and to study short- and medium-term collaborations.

Tres Culturas was also represented by the deputy director, Carmen Fernández-Távora; the head of Strategic Planning, Antonio Chaves; and the director of the Fátima Mernissi Library, Olga Cuadrado. The French delegation included Cédric Prieto, Consul General of France in Madrid; Anne Louyot, Counsellor for Cooperation and Cultural Action to the French Ambassador; Grégory Varenes, Second Counsellor; Didier Maze, Consul General of France in Seville; and Marie-Christine Rivière, Attaché for Cooperation and Cultural Action.

At this meeting, it was agreed to develop some joint actions, such as the promotion of the French-speaking world in the next edition of the 'Three Festival, voices of the Mediterranean', in spring 2020, or the organisation of Euro-Mediterranean debates around the 25th anniversary of the Barcelona Process. This meeting also highlighted the good relationship between the Foundation and the French Embassy, with whose representatives the Foundation has been collaborating for years.
