The third edition of the Master's Degree in International Relations began on 19 October. This year it becomes an official degree within the inter-university programme coordinated by the International University of Andalusia (UNIA), in collaboration with the Pablo de Olavide University (UPO). This is a multidisciplinary master's degree that integrates knowledge of international relations, together with the study of the international society in which they are developed.
Its primary objective is to offer prestigious training at the service of graduates who wish to develop a research and professional career with an international profile or related to external action, offering comprehensive training in international relations based on three main areas: Mediterranean and Arab world, Latin America and European Union.
Among other topics, development cooperation, the evolution of integration processes in Europe and Latin America and the incipient projection of infra-state entities abroad will be addressed, with special attention to the autonomous community of Andalusia.
The master's degree, which consists of 60 credits, is divided into two parts: a theoretical training module and another focused on research. Within the first of these sections, the Fundación Tres Culturas will be hosting the module dedicated to the Arab World, which will take place from 10 December to 20 January, while in 2010 (from 9 to 26 February) it will develop the one focused on Europe.
