The CARPET (Craft Art and People Together) project offers among its actions a section dedicated to facilitating greater contact with artists, craftsmen, restorers, creators and professionals from different disciplines who, under the heading of "Craft Art and People Together", will be able to meet with artists, craftsmen, restorers, creators and professionals from different disciplines. CARPET open studio tour network will keep the various workshops and studios open during the morning and afternoon session on Saturday 20 October 2018. To facilitate the visits, a map has been prepared in digital and printed format, which can be obtained free of charge at the Foundation's headquarters. In order to facilitate these meetings, the organisation offers the possibility of guided tours, subject to prior registration, at no cost to the participants.
The neighbourhoods of Triana and Los Remedios offer unexpected spaces, established artists who were a point of reference in the early days of pictorial abstraction in Seville and who continue to work in a variety of fields. The beginnings of digital art and computer design coexist with restorers and conservators of polychrome sculpture. In short, a conglomerate of spaces and people who generously allow us to cross the barrier of the private, intimate and personal to get to know them better. An unforgettable occasion.
The CARPET project is financially supported by the Creative Europe programme.
