The Fundación Tres Culturas joins in the celebration of International Women's Day and Francophonie Month by offering online viewing of a selection of five episodes of the animated series Culottées at the suggestion of the Institut Français.
These shorts are an adaptation of the graphic novel Culottées by French illustrator and author Pénélope Bagieu, which has been translated into Spanish and published in Spain by Dibbucks under the name 'Valerosas 1' and 'Valerosas 2'.
From volcanologists, military, astronauts, empresses or activists, these women are courageous, daring, determined and fought to achieve their dreams and get ahead in their respective historical periods. Many of them blew away social prejudices and proved that courage and perseverance are not just for men.
The free screening in streaming of the five mini-chapters of the series Culottées can be viewed at THIS LINK from 7 to 9 March.
