100%Happy – A laranja algarvia

Mara Santos, co-founder of 100% Happy- Laranja Algarvia, is 36 years old and was born in Portimão, Algarve. She moved to Loulé, where she studied psychology, in 2000, but a need for family support led her to a radical career change, and she started to work in her family’s citrus fruit company, developing a taste for the oranges and other citrus fruits that have always been part of her life. She and her friend Miriam Ferreira started to feel like creating something, and in September 2016 they began drafting ideas, researching, and having meetings with Kiosquestreetfood. 100% Happy-a Orange Algarvia hit the streets on 28 April.

Since then, she has been touring the Algarve, attending several events promoted in the region. The firm seeks to refresh and create a truly unique experience by producing exceptional juice and other drinks made with Algarvian oranges; making marmalades, etc.
