The businesswoman Deysy Esperanza Solano has a clear vocation to raise awareness of the benefits of proper nutrition. She carries out this work from the herbalist's shop and nutrition consultancy she owns in Dos Hermanas (Seville) and through meetings in schools, with the clear objective of making children responsible for the foods that make up their diet.
On this occasion, the pupils of CEIP Jardines del Valle will have a meeting with the entrepreneur under the title 'El Plato del Buen Comer' (The Dish of Good Eating). The activity focuses on breakfast as a key element in the diet of schoolchildren. It will begin with a theoretical approach to the different nutrients and sources of protein before moving on to a more practical activity in which the pupils will have to deduce which foods are the most advisable to eat at breakfast, according to the nutritionist.
Daysy Esperanza Solano is also an example of perseverance in her studies and a vocation for increasingly demanding training since she left Lima (Peru) thanks to a scholarship from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Her integration in Spain, the creation of her company and her adaptation to a foreign country are elements of great interest to share with the students in an increasingly plural society.
