The Fundación Tres Culturas and the Moroccan Ministry in charge of Moroccans Living Abroad and Migration Affairs are organising, together with the Diputación de Cádiz and the City Council of Jerez de la Frontera, the Forum Women in the Mediterranean space: identity, political participation, leadership and emancipation, which will take place in the capital of Jerez on 24 and 25 May 2017, specifically in the Cloisters of Santo Domingo.
This will be the first of three major meetings that will take place this year as part of the programme. Alqantara: bridges for dialogue and understanding, which the Foundation develops in partnership with the Moroccan Ministry in charge of Moroccans Living Abroad and Migration Affairs. Its aim is to serve as a platform to make women visible as a driving force for change in various fields, from politics to culture, including the world of economics and business, traditionally associated with a more masculine image.
Numerous personalities will be taking part in this forum to share their experiences in the fields mentioned above, while exchanging ideas in an open and constructive debate. In addition, the Foundation has prepared a full programme of parallel activities in which culture (in three of its various facets: film, photography and dance) will play a predominant role.
