The Fondation des Trois Cultures de la Méditerranée, in collaboration with the publishing house Sexto Piso, starts the year by reading the complete poems of Clarisse Nicoïdski at the reading club. Three with books.
The colour of time This is the first time that the complete poetic works of this writer have been brought together. Her work is written in Sepharad, the old Spanish language spoken and preserved almost intact by the Jews at the time of their expulsion from Spain. Nicoïdski realised, after her mother's death, that a part of this language would want to be lost with her, and, as the author points out, she dared to write these poems "to leave a message of her voice".
