The Fundación Tres Culturas del Mediterráneo, in the framework of the Month of Morocco, is collaborating in the third edition of Graphics! on Friday 7 November at 19:00 h, at the Centro Andaluz de las Letras (calle Álamos, 24, Málaga), with the participation of the Moroccan illustrator Zainab Fasiki and Spanish illustrator Ilu Ros.
Under the heading Other comic heroines', Both creators will talk, moderated by Teresa Pérez, about the representation of female identities in comics and the reinterpretation of classic myths from a contemporary point of view.
Zainab Fasiki, a leading figure in Moroccan feminist comics, and Ilu Ros, the author of works such as Federica o Things that are not forgottenwill share their vision on the role of women in comics today and their ability to inspire new visual narratives.
The participation of Tres Culturas in Graphics! reinforces its commitment to comics and to bringing them closer to young people, linking this initiative with COMICMED, our commitment to creativity and visual storytelling as a tool for cultural dialogue.
