The Fundación Tres Culturas, in collaboration with the Andalusian Association of Women in Audiovisual Media, the Andalesgai Festival and the University of Seville, will show during the month of March a selection of films, shorts and documentaries that highlight the vision of women behind the camera, thus showing its support for Andalusian filmmakers as well as those from other lands and cultures, who do so much for the cinematographic panorama.

A milestone for equal opportunities, through the eyes of three teenage girls who find it difficult to find information about women in the history of science. This makes it difficult for them to find references to follow. Until they receive a visit from a time traveller. She will introduce them to great women scientists of the past and present, whose achievements have been and are a milestone in the world of science. But at the end of the journey, the future has one last surprise in store for them. The young women will discover that they are masters of their destiny, and that they are about to change the course of the history of science forever.

From the Spanish-Portuguese border they worked between corruption and misery in the middle of a line. It was too difficult a period. In the midst of the Spanish post-war period, they crossed the oldest border in Europe on the banks of the Guadiana. In 2017 this border is 750 years old. The testimonies of those old backpackers between Encinasola (Spain) and Barrancos (Portugal) tell a story of hunger in the midst of two dictatorships, that of Franco and Salazar.

Synopsis: A couple of digital nomads realise their dream of being able to telecommute for a tech giant from a luxurious flat overlooking the sea in a warm, modern southern city. However, the city sounds familiar to them, not only because it looks more and more like other cities disfigured by abusive urban planning, but also because it provides them with a special soundtrack every day.

La Rotonda narrates life in the village of Los Nietos in Níjar (Almería), one of the arrival points for many African immigrants who flee their countries, risking their lives, to aspire to a better life. It is located on a strategic roundabout on the way to one of the most frequented tourist areas of Cabo de Gata. His vision should not leave anyone indifferent. However, we know little about it, nor about other similar settlements in the area. The children of our story survive there, with hard and badly paid jobs, they are essential for the greenhouses in the area to function. Their living conditions are extremely difficult. Their world may surprise us.

Rachí narrates the persecution of a gypsy woman during the Franco era. Through flamenco, she pays tribute to the women day labourers of Pedrera and Andalusia.
