The Three Cultures of the Mediterranean Foundation continues to strengthen its ties with the African Film Festival of Tarifa and Tangier, collaborating in this new edition that takes place from 28 April to 6 May 2017 in Tarifa and from 30 April to 5 May in Tangier.

To this end, Tres Culturas participates in the programming of parallel activities with the organisation of the exhibition 'Faces of the new Morocco' and the colloquium 'Cinema and border' with the sponsorship of the Ministry in charge of Moroccan Communities Resident Abroad and Migration Affairs in the framework of the programme 'Alqantara: bridges for dialogue and coexistence'.

The collaboration that the Three Cultures of the Mediterranean Foundation and the African Film Festival of Tarifa and Tangier have been maintaining for several years is based on the desire of both organisations to contribute to the promotion of values aimed at improving understanding and relations between peoples and to make a positive contribution to the development of African and Arab culture and the film industry,

An unmissable event for African cinematographies, this independent and competitive film festival focuses its efforts on the promotion and dissemination of the cinematographies of the African continent and the non-African Arab world in Spain and Latin America.
