The Fundación Tres Culturas, through its European project INTREPIDA plus, is organising, on Thursday 22 October, an original event that brings us closer to a world unknown to many people: the observation of the universe. A unique opportunity offered by the company Planetario Albireo, run from Granada by Malena Sánchez, an entrepreneur whose vocation for popularising science led her a decade ago to launch an original business initiative that aims to bring science to people of any age, condition and in any place, however small or remote it may be.
This event is designed as a didactic visit that, in a fun and dynamic way, will stimulate curiosity about the universe and the science that studies it, astronomy. The sessions, aimed at all kinds of audiences, will last 20 minutes and participants will be able to learn about the sky on that particular day, the constellations and star maps, among many other curiosities.
For this purpose, we will have the collaboration of the Astromares Association, which will travel with the necessary tools. This association, located in the town of Tomares in Seville, is one of the most active in Andalusia and works with the sole vocation of spreading the passion for astronomy among citizens.
This activity is free of charge thanks to the financial support of the European programme Interreg POCTEP Spain-Portugal V A Spain Portugal and the Three Cultures of the Mediterranean Foundation. Places are limited, so it is essential to pre-register via THIS LINK.
