Description:

With a great vocation and passion, this winery has started its commercial activity in Alcalá la Real, located in the Sierra Sur de Jaén region. The region is covered by the Protected Geographical Indication Sierra Sur de Jaén, a quality seal that this family winery, owned by Blanca María Serrano and Marcelino Serrano, has fought from the beginning to create the necessary infrastructure to merit.

The potential of this area was visible from the first harvests, yielding optimal and exquisite results.

The winery, located in a beautiful spot in Alcalá la Real, has its own vineyard with quality varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Tempranillo, Graciano, Garnacha, Syrah, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Chardonnay, Garnacha Blanca and Moscatel, which, when vinified separately and blended as required, produce structured and very fruity wines that withstand good ageing.

They also provide some very interesting services:

– Winery visit / Vineyard visit

Guided tours are given by Marcelino Serrano and Blanca María Serrano, who share their experiences in Viniculture and Oenology with their visitors. History of wine in this city, the importance of the vine in the Middle Ages, wine privileges granted by Queen Juana I of Castile and her son Carlos V, grape varieties, their fermentation…

The visits can be for any audience of any age, from couples up to groups of 25 people, by prior appointment.

– Introductory wine tasting course, tasting of three wines produced in-house, carrying out the different types of analysis (appearance, nose and palate).

– Gourmet meals for groups at the Winery, with typical dishes from the area such as rice in broth.
