Since 2017, the Fundación Tres Culturas has been hosting young European university students under the age of 30 at its headquarters in Seville as volunteers under the programme. Interreg Volunteer Youth. The link between the Foundation and this programme lies in the project INTREPIDA plus which is part of the Interreg Spain-Portugal programme (POCTEP).
The European Union places great trust in the work of these young volunteers, as is the case of Chiara Scacchetti, who is working for four months with the Fundación Tres Culturas at its headquarters in Seville. In response to the call for proposals launched by Interreg Volunteer Youth with European funds to work with youth and cohesion policy, Chiara Scacchetti has presented the project Go to. This initiative will welcome up to 30 people from Andalucía Acoge and CEAR (Spanish Commission for Refugee Aid) with whom they will work directly in the environment of the Doñana National Park, including a visit to this ecosystem, talks on cohesion policy and meetings with businesswomen from the INTREPIDA plus project and activities guided by the heads of Espacio Natural Doñana, dependent on the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Sustainable Development of the Andalusian Regional Government.
The costs of all activities are funded by the European Commission's DG REGIO and the Association of European Border Regions (AEBR).
