`Rialto 11´ unites reading clubs from Barcelona and Seville
Within the framework of the Mercat de Nadal de Sant Jordi, Belén Rubiano will discuss her book, Rialto, 11, Naufragios y pecios de una librería (Libros del Asteroide, 2019) with literary critic Anna María Iglesia.
The conversation will be held via video conference. Belén Rubiano will connect from the José Saramago Municipal Public Library, in Mairena del Aljarafe, where members of various book clubs in the province of Seville who have read the book will also be taking part. On the other hand, Anna María Iglesia will be in Barcelona, at the Sant Jordi de Nadal, one of the most important literary events of the year.
In Rialto, 11, Naufragios y pecios de una librería, Belén Rubiano (Seville, 1970) tells us about her passion for books and how one can end up putting everything at risk to chase a dream. It’s a partial memoire in which the author discusses her experience of spending ten years as a bookseller in Seville.
