The ’16 Bienal ONCE ANDALUCÍA’ music concert at the Three Cultures Foundation
The Three Cultures Foundation collaborates with ONCE to host two important concerts at its headquarters on March 14 and 15.
March 14 Wednesday, 8:00 p.m.
Opening concert: José Luis Scott and Orquesta Ciudad de los Califas from Córdoba
José Luis Scott is a renowned artist who has participated in many concerts, flamenco festivals and cultural events, such as Memorial Pepita Caballero (Carmona, Seville), Semana Cultural de la Peña El Chozas, Casa del arte Antonio Mairena (Mairena del Alcor, Seville), Jornadas culturales de Candeleda (Ávila).
The ‘Ciudad de los Califas’ Orchesta was founded in 1941 and it coincides with the beginnings of the ONCE in Córdoba, under the direction of Valentín Muñoz.
Thanks to the bet of this musical group, people with visual disabilities are being given an opportunity to express their musical talent in an Orchestra that, to this day, has achieved great recognition for its musical and interpretative quality.
Currently, Rafael Romero Gil directs the Orquesta, who is licensed in Music and an outstanding connoisseur of plectrum music.

Coral Alaia (Donostia-San Sebastián)
The Coral was founded in Donostia in 1991 within the ONCE, under the direction of Araceli Aguado Sancho. The choir is made up of more than thirty voices and half of them are members of ONCE. Its repertoire includes works from different styles, epochs and aesthetics, from American spirituals to African pieces without neglecting works of Basque folklore, habaneras or the classic sacred environment, among others.
They currently sing under the direction of Iñaki Cárcamo.
