The prestigious jazz and soul singer La Jihane Bougrine at Tres Culturas

Within the framework of the Alcántara programme, the Foundation organises this concert by Jihane Bougrine, an artist with her own personal musical style between jazz and soul, dressed with Arabic influences.

Jihane draws inspiration from many types of music and her pieces are influences by the beautiful texts by Charles Aznavour, Jacques Brel and Brassens which her father introduced her to and by the love of music her mother transmitted to her by listening to Oum Keltoum, Abdelhalim Hafez, Farid Al Atrach, Wadi Safi or Abdelahi Belkhayat.

For her performance at Tres Culturas (Three Cultures), Jihane Bougrine will be accompanied by a group of musicians to create a melting pot of different musical worlds.
